More Than a Decade Later Missing Cat Reunited with Family

In northern Florida, a missing cat is back home after eleven years. Animal Care and Protective Services in Jacksonville says a code enforcement officer responded to a call about a sick cat who was found by a Good Samaritan. The cat was microchipped, but the info linked to the feline wasn’t correct. A little bit of investigation led Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) to his family who was shocked to find out he had been found, said a Facebook post by the animal shelter, and wanted him back home immediately. He’ll now get to live out his life back “in the place where he was raised and with a family who still loves him to this day,” the shelter said.
