Purdue Extension is hosting a Vegetable Field Day for farmers and home gardeners on August 9, 2022, 5 to 8 p.m. Central Time. Participants will tour vegetable research trials and learn about soil health and vegetable production. Various topics will be covered including dry bean production, drip irrigation, no-till pumpkins, vegetable preservation, cover crops in the home garden, irrigation for home gardens, sweet corn varieties and more. Equipment will be on display and there will be time for discussion about many aspects of specialty crop production. There will also be a meal following the program.
