The Indiana Department of Transportation wants drivers to be aware of resurfacing project in the Gary area that will cause intermittent lane restrictions on US-20 starting Monday. Specifically, expect lane closures on US-20, between US-12 and about a third of a mile west of SR-51, through mid-August. Be prepared for stopping traffic, narrowed lanes and intermittent one lane traffic controlled by flaggers, according to INDOT.
