The price of a postage stamp is dropping to 47 cents tomorrow. Westwood One Correspondent Christopher Cruise says the cost of a postage stamp will drop from 49-cents to 47-cents.

The Post Office says it’s going to cost the agency 2-billion-dollars a year. The agency was allowed to raise the price in 2014 to help recover from the recession but it was only temporary. This is only the third time the cost of a stamp has dropped since the Civil War.
