St. John Town Update Regarding COVID-19 Response

The Town of St. John on Wednesday announced all town facilities are closed until further notice as the community continues its response to the COVID-19 outbreak. In a live-streamed news conference, St. John officials announced they will follow Governor Eric Holcomb’s mandate while continuing as best as possible to provide community services. The town will be maintaining operations with rotating staff, officials said, but public access to town departments will be limited to email, drop box, and U.S. Mail only. Officials also said at this time all town parks and pathways in St. John will remain open to the public unless otherwise posted, however all playground equipment and other facilities are off-limits until further notice in compliance with the governor’s order. As with all other situations, everyone is asked to observe social distancing by maintaining at least six feet of physical separation from others.
